It wasn’t lack of parental support. It wasn’t lack of role models. It was something much deeper that I had to overcome in order to become an artist.
Living on the base is different than just living in the Caribbean, although we do get the lovely sunny weather year-round and the tropical teal ocean waters with the accompanying amazing fishing and diving opportunities.

Tazboards is moving! This is exciting, but means that we will be shutting down our wood shop for a little while until we get settled in our new location.
I wish I had a cool nickname. The Dreaded Woodworker calls me “Evil E,” but only when I’m on the “wheels of steel” (recording videos). All the rest of the time, I’m just “Ev.”
Every morning after getting a large glass of water and getting an even LARGER cup of coffee, I look at the sign over the entrance to the wood shop which reads, “Put Your Boots On Babe.”
I haven’t shared any of this with TJ yet, but I’ma set some goals from now until the end of the year. That’s 89 days from now.
